Title: buzz in fender rumble 15
Post by: drgonzonm on July 17, 2017, 08:46:42 am
I have a fender rumble 15, that occasionally starts to buzz (not sure if its 60 or 120 hz) when I plug an instrument cord into it.  I can sometimes get rid of the buzz by wiggling the cord.  But a few minutes later it starts again.  I use it in small venues, and buzz is a buzz killer (pun intended).

Thanks

INput jack ground, guitar cable, guitar.  After that assuming it's a pcb, re-flow all the solder connections at input and PS

The rumble is low cost amp pcb based,  with comparable components.  The ground ring is loose, need to replace the mostly plastic input jack.

Thanks for the response shooter.

Hope that gets it, I'm not a big fan of plastic, especially when musicians interface with the stuff
