Title: Bluesland B40
Post by: BeeLectro on July 24, 2017, 07:23:52 pm
Hey all, second post.

I'm thinking about buying a Bluesland B40, but only if I can find a schematic to go with it. Just in case it needs some repair down the road.

I checked the library here, no luck. Anyone know where to find one ? The company is long out of business.

Thanks.

A quick internet search led me to the concept of it being a clone of a 5E7 Bandmaster, so that should get you close.

One of the things I learned early, which I found inspiring, was "you don't need a schematic to fix a tube amp, they all basically do the same thing" - Gerald Weber
So, if I liked the amp and could get a good deal on it I wouldn't hesitate due to the lack of a schematic.
If I really liked it I would take it apart and draw my own.

I thought of that after I posted, that tube amp guys don't actually need schematics. I don't work on them myself, but I thought any future techs who did work on it might appreciate it...someone else bought it before I went back for another listen..
