Title: For the Granddaughter
Post by: Cree on August 20, 2017, 12:21:43 pm
It has taken me the whole summer of any spare time I could muster, but I finally finished a Cigar Box Guitar for my Grand Daughter. Just posting for my sake, built a Canjo for my Grand Son and there are no pictures of it in it's pristine like new state. lol
This is a surprise present for her, as she is very interested in Cigar Box guitar. Not as loud as I hoped but my wife says " it sounds pretty" any who, I'm proud of it, can not wait to hand it over, I know I'm gonna get me one of the best hugs a Gdiddy ever got.    In case someone notices and wants to say something,, I did mess up the 12th fret markers. They are on the 11th fret, had done the markers (burnt in) before I noticed. To far into it to try to cover up and do over. So they are part of the home made DIY charm. Not perfect, not bad ether. Once you know you adjust to them.
