Title: AB763 backwards doghouse?
Post by: evancorylevine on September 02, 2017, 04:44:35 pm
Hey loves.

I fear that I may have installed the components in the doghouse upside down. I can't just turn it around because the mounting screws and the through-holes to the inside are asymetrical. Do I need to turn this all around, or is it okay if some of my wires to the doghouse run a little longer?

If you're happy, that's what counts. The important issue is connecting the wires IAW the schematic. Couple inches extra length means nothing.

I would personally redo it but I'm anal about that stuff. I once threw a chassis in the trash because of a backward layout error.

If you are going to build a million of them, saving the penny on wire will delay you going broke.

For a one-off, I would not fret.
