Title: JSchem fixed for Mac
Post by: Heinz on September 18, 2017, 08:41:35 am
Hello all,

I have finally fixed the Mac OS version of JSchem. It now uses a bundled Oracle Java runtime so you don't have to install anything apart from the JSchem application. I posted this info to an old thread a few days ago but I'm afraid that wasn't the best idea. Please check http://el34world.com/Forum/index.php?topic=20396.msg238709#msg238709 (http://el34world.com/Forum/index.php?topic=20396.msg238709#msg238709) if you're interested in more details.

Best regards,
Bernhard

THX. I'll post a link to this thread in the tube amp building forum. Lot of mac users here but they may not follow this forum.

Thank you so much Heinz - I will really look forward to this, I was resigned to using an old pc laptop to do layouts.  I can't seem to find a PC download site, but I'll keep looking.  I really appreciate your work!

Hello all,

some of you may have noticed that the JSchem web site disappeared. I hate to admit it but I was so busy doing other stuff that I didn't even notice my hoster went out of business  . It took me a while to find an adequate replacement. There are many free hosters to choose from but most of them have annoying ads or don't support file downloads. I hope that bplaced won't let me down.

So the new home page for JSchem is http://jschem.bplaced.net

I have uploaded the new Mac version that I announced some posts earlier. Please let me know if it works for you.
