Title: Rotary, 1 Pole, 3 Position Wiring help for speaker load
Post by: KimboDb on September 29, 2017, 04:12:30 pm
can some one help with the wiring on the switch. i know were i would put the 2,4,8 ohm wires. Just making sure that i don't have to use the ground lug since that will be on the output jack itself. also, do i have to place the negative feedback wire on the output jack with the output wire like usual or would that goto the ground lug on the rotary switch? Thanks ahead of time.

There is no ground lug. There should only be four lugs on that switch. You know what to do with three of them. The fourth lug is the switch wiper. It will connect to the hot lug on your speaker jack.

The negative feedback wire connects to the 2, 4, or 8 ohm lug, whichever is appropriate.
