Title: Which Resister should I get ?

I am in the process of fixing my friends Hot Rod Deluxe.  I think I have a pretty good youtube video of the problem.  Getting a few parts from Hoffman's.  But for R97  the shematics call for a 2watt 1.2 k resister. This resister goes to 39 VAC?? 


 It looks like on Hoffman's my choice is 3 watt 1k or 2.2k.  Or poassibly the bigger 5 wat 1.5 k.  Any professional suggestions?
