Title: supro 6424****
Post by: ClippIn4tae on October 07, 2017, 04:28:58 am
On sluckey schematic there is a 470k on the input jack,is this correct or is that a 47k?
I see alot of differnt values for differnt amps.

Alot of 1m,and 47k

So what is correct?

I just want to be clear.

And for some reason no one will respond to my questions.

And some of the memebers have blocked my messages?

I dont get it.

EDIT... took my name out of the subject line

What do you see showing on these Supro schematics?

ClippIn4tae tried to register as another member this morning

No doubt because he managed to piss off several forum members and they refused to help him

I asked him about registering twice
After me telling him that the moderators would have to decide what to do with him he said this in an email

Just took a look and I've been here 12 years. Just around 1074 posts, so I guess I'm not as active as some of you in posting. I read a lot though!

Active? 79 posts in 10 years. I'm an avid reader though. I wonder how long it'd take to publish that book I planned on writing. Now 80!!!

I'm a serious newb, just passed 2 years a bit ago :P  Feels like a lot longer in time, but a lot shorter in how little I feel I've learned and how much more I still need to learn :D

Yeah.  I'm one of those.  And I was dumber than a box of rocks back then. :l2:  in 1997 ( I think) Doug helped me build my first 5E3.  That amp started a long love of vacuum tube guitar amps that I, like Johnny Appleseed with his apple seeds, have been attempting to spread every where I can.  I remember cleaning up my Roland JC120 and selling it right after I cranked up that 5E3.  After years of playing solid state (yuck, saying that leaves a nasty taste in my mouth) amplifiers that day was an epiphany.  Thank you thank you Doug Hoffman.

Wow  I can't believe I've been a member here since May 2007. Time sure flies. I think I lurked for a while prior to that as I'm sure many do.

He was banned, so he won't be back
Also, his 2nd forum name he tried to register with was banned.
He said he was out of here and would not be buying any more parts from me
He managed to piss off several people here in a very short amount of time and so he tried to register a different name. (like that would help)

Oh well.  Good luck to him.  I've been booted from a forum or two in my younger days when I was less sophisticated. :BangHead:  I'm about as flawed as we humans come.  If I didn't have a bride who loves me no tellin' where I'd be. :icon_biggrin:  And by the way, I've never been on a more friendly and tolerant forum.

However there was an earlier incarnation of the forum, and the old records may not have carried-over.

I think there were 3 forum versions in total

EZ Board - The original forum

YaBB - this ran on perl and used a file system instead of a database (horrible software)

SMF - The current forum that uses php and a data base
