Title: Tweed Bluezmiester
Post by: super&plexi on December 05, 2017, 07:30:34 pm
TBM in super 60 cab/chassis, with tranny's from Crate V16 (3x10''model)       6L6's, stock Speaker (12''w/huge magnet) HOF reverb in passive loop, maybe Ts9 in front.....sounds like i change channels, find a comfy volume on dirty channel, and back off, going between screamer (Turbo in modded 2nd channel/preset-further modded)......

amp (just chassis) fell off speaker while tweaking, breaking #1 tube, and screwing up socket,  and at first motorboated, then produced the high feedback. this is just plugging new tube into re-tweaked socket, and playing.

gonna have to replace socket as now its pushed in to chassis when i tried to re-tube. all things considered, not bad for distortion amp.  love the Clean too!...Maybe more.    come to think of it the board is not completely bolted down!

guitar is old Jackson small Strat Head, original Floyd, Maple neck, with crazy "Harley Flames", & original Bill Lawrence H.B's but rear splits, giving that sweeter mixed tone from one Volume knob, no tone.

S&P your playing always amazes me! :worthy1:
The amp sounds really nice - lots of spank!
I have to ask you, I see you have an RT20. How do you like it?  Can you get a good Univibe sound out of it?  I've read reviews and they are all over the place. It seems people love them or they absolutely hate them!

Thanks so much guys!   J/R200… the Roland I use more for the Leslie thing.  I got a case w/1meg in it for speed control instead of fast/slow, so I can ramp it,  and in between speed it,  but not totally in love with Univibe sim,  especially with dirt.   Ah the times they are a changing.... Sold my original mint UniVibe for 100 bucks pre '78, and last year got 700/900for my 60`s logo on top Vox Wah!
