Nice!
I had 3 running jeeps and a project. the runners went through 4motors, 2 dif's, 2 axle shafts and countless "pieces"! my best run was Brown county park NC, took a Cherokee, 2" lift, 31's up the mountain with 2 teen-aged girls riding on the roof!. I had to pull out a F150, a 70's bronco, and a quad that was driving WAY to fast not expecting a "car" in his way!
I also took a Rav4 rental on a trail near Rocky Mtn national park, toped out at 12,500ft, visa like your video!!made it about a mile "down" then hit a landslide that ended that run. did pass water and food to an Escalade dad that ripped most of his under-carriage out :think1:
I moved on to rally type cars next (03 WRX, and EVO X GSR) :icon_biggrin:
Now I drive a Buick :think1:

Elfie telling it like it is! Driver was just whistling while he worked! What beautiful country...
One my clients is president of the local Jeep club chapter. He hauls his Jeeps to the offroad events with a 4Runner! He said he wants to at least get there! I asked him if he got any flack from his "people" and he said, "You have no idea...." He also said he has pulled more Jeeps out at the events with his 4Runner than with his Jeep. Then he told me he bought an H2 but is afraid to tell any of his buddies! Even worse, he wants an H1! Blasphemy!

True story. I lived in Taipei, Taiwan in '61 & we had a WWII Willys Jeep that was 4 wheel drive. This was just prior to the Cuban Missle Crisis. He was in Strategic Air Command as an advisor to the Taiwanese Air Force. This was only about 15 yrs or less after the Japanese had occupied the island during WWII. When they fled, they left ALOT of munitions and weapons in man made caves that they made to guard and control some of the major mountain roads.
We would drive roads similar to what was in the video but with fewer and smaller rocks and quite a bit more dirt or mud after a rain. And we would go exploring NOT knowing what was ahead? No one to get advice from and no GPS or google to know what was ahead?
There was a particular exploration that I still remember. My (now deceased) father and I would talk about this for decades afterwards ............
We were driving up a mountain after heavy rains. Same type of one car only width with turns where you couldn't see what was next like in the video. At one point, the road was so muddy that the jeep could not move forward and was starting to fish tail and crab sideways trying to go forward. Looking over the right side of the jeep there was a drop that maybe was a 1/4 mi or more straight down (as I remember it).
My dad finally told me (& my friend) to sit on the left side of the jeep and IF it started sliding over the cliff to jump off. I don't remember how far he had to back down to go to find an area where he could turn the jeep around, but he had to drive in reverse back down the mountain.
It was a rather freaky experience. We had many adventures the two yrs we lived there and this is one that stood out. I had other experiences even more remarkable. Life was full of adventures for me for the two yrs we were there. Beautiful island and semi-tropical and mountainous. Taiwan is also called Formosa which means beautiful island.
I lived in Colorado for a short while in early 70's. We got some wonderful hikes in and went into some relatively remote places during that time. Never got a jeep back up in those roads, but I had great fun in my '67 VW bug.
Respectfully, Jeff

Wow! That's remarkable. Aerial photography done with a drone or helicopter?

Can't remember where, but near RMNP, I sat in a snow bank, panning a creak that was 2' wide and found some color. my legs were froze when I got up, but the sun on my upper half fooled my brain, til I tried to walk :think1:

Just took a ride on my bike and it was great.. 52 degrees here so all I needed was a warm jacket and a light set of gloves... perfect.
Anyone ever want to come out this way I can show you around.

I'll keep that in mind.
Know anything about the Durango area?
-
The railroad is pretty cool. Live steam and spectacular scenery. Cool day trip if you have the time. About 7 hours round trip with about a 2.5 hour layover in Silverton for the turnaround or you can stay overnight and catch it for the return the following day. Did I mention the spectacular scenery?
