One of the issues I have always had in the past with my Fender blackface cabinet builds is getting the speaker baffle board firmly down on the bottom inside of the cabinet while screwing it in place so that I have the required vertical clearance for the chassis to slide into place. Recently Sluckey helped me make the screwing of the board much easier by recommending a flexible 1/4" driver shaft but I still needed some way to keep the board in place while driving the anchors. I looked at the quick clamp/spreader tools but they were all to cheesy to do the job. I finally found a tool that works great and it is the ATP Disc Brake Pad Installation Caliper Piston Press Steel Spreader Kit I found on Amazon:

I just put this puppy in between the underside of the cabinet and the top of the baffle board, tighten it up and bam! Christmas ham.
