Yes, Google has resolved. I was just curious if you'd had any reports. We may have had some folks tagged by this.

I was not entirely clear on how this thing works

It looks like the server does the mining, not your local computer?

not sure about the malware, but "mining" can happen at the user computer level.

exploit adds your PC to a botnet and it becomes a bitcoin miner.

if you have the ability to look at your outbound traffic & you see IP flows to random IP addresses with destination protocol ports: 7777 5555 4444 3337 8220, you've been hacked.
