Hi!
It bugs me to ask this question, as it probably is very obvious to many of you.. but I simply cannot get my head around it :think1:
I'm trying to mod Sluckeys Tweed Deluxe Reverb circuit layout. I want a Push/Pull Raw Pot after the Mid pot.
The problem arises when I want to add a Footswitch function to the raw mod, and still be able to use it without the footswitch plugged in. I've included the tone stack from the VHT Special 6, which has this mod.
My current thinking is to wire the Mid pot Pin 1 to HOT on Jack, and from Jack GROUND to Bus Bar. Is this correct?
Please enlighten me.
Thank you
Christian

Thank you so much Sluckey, exactly what I was looking for.

If you use a switch jack (like switchcraft 12A) you can put the jack in series between the pot center lug and the manual switch (with switch jack 'sleeve' to ground) so that when the foot switch is inserted it doesn't matter what position the manual switch is in, the foot switch will work regardless. inserting the foot switch would also make the manual switch useless. It's a nuance, but you might like it that way...

I know this is rather old, just wondering if this worked out for you? Did you run the connection for the jack close to the front panel as shown or did you use a shielded cable to the rear of amp? I tried this and was not successful as the foot switch cable was an antennae. How did you implement.
