Title: Translating schematics to layouts
Post by: Fizazzles on April 12, 2018, 05:14:44 pm
While I'm waiting for the parts to my first build (5f2a 2x12 in a purple heart cabinet), I've been wondering how to about taking schematics and turning them into layouts to be built. Can people who have experience with this talk about your process or the steps you go through?

Go to Dougs turret board sales page, pick something "close" to the amp you're building, I think there's a 5F2 there.   Now, study, look how the socket wires come back to the board, un-twisted-up, clean.  There is a "method", which I haven't quite got yet

once you look at a handful of layouts, get paper and pencil and try your own, lots of eraser and sharpener.
then build lots of amps  :icon_biggrin:
