Purchased a rare Gretsch Chet Atkins Piggy Back amp. It had plastic inputs installed new input jacks limiter shows a possible short. Is there anyone in the St. Pete FL area that could fix this amp as I'm a big Chet Atkins fan and would love to use this amp
Thanks for any help

If you have a limiter, you must have a few skillz. ;) Pull the rect. tube, test, replace rect. tube, pull power tube(s), test.. sooner or later you'll hit the section where the short is. But...
What is the bulb doing that says you have a "possible" short?

Plexi50 can fix it for you.

Can you give me contact info for plexi50 please
Limiter 100 watt bulb goes from dim at first to bright as tubes heat up
Thanks

I have the amp Steve. Thanks for the referral. Beautiful virgin example. A mass of weeds! 1966 pot code dates.

Thankyou Big Chief! It is always a pleasure to see and work on vintage amplifiers of a different breed.
