Finally got around to recording my HoSo56 minimalist with 6BM8 power tubes. This is my "practice amp" at home and probably has maybe 7 watts total. I am very impressed with the bass response of such a low wattage amp.
The tune is sort of a jazz tune similar to "Misty" but it doesn't contain the bridge.

Essentially recorded as a clean tone. Straight into amp. Very light compression, very light delay and some EQ in mix. Otherwise, just plugged
straight into the amp. This has become my "go to" practice amp.

The recordings are NOT very loud and you may need to turn up your computer volume to hear them OK?
With respect, Tubenit

Thanks guys! I am really enjoying this amp. Very nice full response including bass at very low volumes.

That sounds nice and harmonically rich.
Your guitar sounds waaaayyy better than the "plinky-plink" cleans that you would get with a strat.
Thanks for sharing!

Jeff,
Excellent playing! Really nice stuff! Forget that crappy guitar! If the amp can make it sound THAT good, it's a miracle worker! :icon_biggrin: Seriously, great chops and is that you singing? Very nice... :worthy1:

Everything was me including the vocals. :sad2: I know I can't sing in public & not allowed to .....so I recorded that in the shower.
I used my 335-ish guitar & then my recent Tele build that has three "alnico 2" strat single coils (maple over basswood body). My bandsaw simply refused to cut a strat body.
Thanks guys. Jeff

The guitar player on the Classics four albums was really cool
Lots of cool chord changes
Sunny
Stormy
Spooky
Traces all come to mind
I have listened to those four records a zillion times

The Very Thought of You.
OK, ……….. I know I can't sing with a flip. However, I have always loved this song ………… so I gave it a shot.
Recorded with the HoSo56 Minimalist. I love this tiny amp & probably practice my pseudo/pretend jazz on it more then my other two amps.

IF you'd like to actually like to hear a decent version of this song, Tony Bennet did a duo with some gal that is phenomenal.
