It's a beautiful day! Replacing those orange drops with Mallory M150 coupling / tone capacitors. All new NOS 1957 date coded tubes on hand to go in it. More later.

Change the bias resistor and fire it up/ My old 1950's blue 150 watt solder gun makes chassis soldering a breeze.
Great sounding amp. Silent until played.

Doesn't the amp look like it was made just a few years ago to a degree? Face plate script is nice. Circuit board & pot's look clean and happy. I have another rare amp coming from the same customer. A 1957 Tweed Bandmaster! I'm taking so many pic's if there's a flea in these amps it will show up. I can not express enough the thankfulness for the knowledge and helpful teachers we all have learned from on Dougs amp forum here. If it weren't for this website / forum and you guy's, id probably be getting greasy working on old muscle cars and restoring them like i used to in the 70's & 80's. Mopar or no car. There all golden gems today.
I will post the Tweed Bandmaster when it get's here.
