This 1976 got 500? Is is a deal,or fakx
-
A couple things bug me about this one.
A 76 should have the patent number under the Fender neck logo
and the distressing looks fake to me.
All that wear in the upper waist and hardly any wear from the pick hand forearm????

Neck "F" plate shows right number for 1976. The other thing you can do is remove the neck and check to see if neck and body dates were written on them. Also check pot numbers. For the money, I don't think anyone would do all this to fake a $500 guitar. Heck, getting a single neck plate chromed would be a hundred bucks.

Oh, it's also a microtilt big headstock neck. That's 70's for sure.

This may help you as well.

Looks correct. Even if it is fake, still worth 500, but it has 3 screw neck and as Jim mentioned micro tilt or said another way, screw to correct improper neck angle to not slow down shipping due to poor routing.
The neck has a nice look to it. I would jam on it.
