Title: Remember the amp I was needing help with?
Post by: Diverted on August 06, 2018, 11:01:05 am
A lot of members here were very helpful when I was looking for answers on how to mash a Fender Princeton Reverb circuit into a highly modified 5E3 (separated channels, extra gain stage, etc). I've now built three of these and have another one planned, a single channel incorporating the resulting unused triode for an Ampeg Jet tremolo circuit (Thanks Sluckey). Anyway, they're not as professional looking as some of the stuff I see on here but here are a few photos of two of the three built so far. Both done with the exception of the faceplates, which are on order. Tolexing the third this week.
Tolexing scared the hell out of me, but it's gone relatively smoothly. These are the first two cabinets I've tolexed, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be!

Understand if it's proprietary, if not, got schematic? Are there any areas in need of tweaking?
