you don't need that .1 out front.


keep in mind that when Fender adopted the TMB TS they added a 2nd gain stage 12AX7 to make up amplitude lost with the new circuit.

this better or use 250pf for coupling and drop .1
your right  (gain stage) might stick with single tone control
