Title: multi-section capacitor replacement advice
Post by: Oldgem on September 04, 2018, 04:25:01 am
I have an old Italian 30W beast made by GEM called a Mars. They named all their amps after Roman gods. The Mars has a multi-section capacitor which I need to replace. There is plenty of room on the chassis so am not averse to a modern solution. How can I do this please? Here is a pic of the offending part which I simply can't find a replacement for. Any pointers would be gratefully received. It is a 500V 40uF - 20uF - 30uF. Thanks.

Doug sell a JJ 40-20-20-20uF 500V that you can use (connect two 20uf section in parallel so you have 40-40-20uF)
