Title: 40W PSE hy-gain.
Post by: DummyLoad on September 15, 2018, 02:55:04 am
this thing is whole lotta fun. spin on 40W SE i posted early in the year. was wondering how it would sound with a bit more gain. added a cold bias unbypassed gain stage. interesting tone.

schematic shows 2x200uF series stack for first filter - actually is 2x450uF.

I love our innovation! how does the presence feature act/react, does it work well enough to steal?  :icon_biggrin:
My baby version gets a little treble bite-e close to max

try it. range works ok. amp gets brighter sounding as it should when maxed. tightening up of the low freqs. is what really stands out.

No. He puts it on his shoulder and carries it for miles.
