Title: Sluckey's Dual Marshall
Post by: pompeiisneaks on September 15, 2018, 05:39:54 pm
Sluckey's given me this awesome project to do :D,

The problem is that it's in a Vox chassis that has 4 tube holes right where I want the main board, so I've had to adjust the layout to be dumble SSS style so that they're directly below the eyelet board.  I'd love for some input on what may be wrong/missing, so check it yo! :D

Edit: typo
Edit2: updating the latest layout

Will the tube sockets be mounted directly to the board? Where are the filter caps for nodes D and F?

They won't, but they're directly beneath the only really good spot for the board, so I'll pull wires up from below into the board.

I'm using 3x 50x50 cap cans and then just the single one on board.  Basically I can do all the power filtering off board in holes I'll mount to the chassis, or if they'll fit in the chassis I may just bolt them down inside.  I've not sized them inside the chassis yet.

I've also updated the screenshot, so Ill change that.  I've decided to put eyelets near the holes in the board so the wires coming up from the sockets don't have to go far, then i can mount things to those as well, etc.

See edited new layout
