I (tediously) walked through Ikea with my girlfriend last month. At the check-out, someone had left this small wooden box (https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40222607/). I felt sad for the box, and decided to make it into an amp, for a good friend of mine. This was the end result.
A plexi-ish preamp, derived from sluckeys november build with a few tweaks, with dark and bright volume blend knobs, DC cathode follower, TMB and an AX84 High Octane-ish power section.
It took some time to figure out the component placement with such little space, but sluckeys visio shapes helped a lot.
I finished the build a few days ago, and my friend describes the sound as "Very dynamic, like a mix between marshall and a vox - Great punchy cleans, articulate and clear without sounding harsh or ice-piercing. And a very quiet amp". He was overall very happy about the build, so that of course makes me happy!
Cheers from Denmark

Wow! That's a lotta stuff in a little space. I know you spent a lot of time figuring out how to stuff that box. Looks great!

Thanks!
And you bet!
It's even more crowded after a few "friend-requested" tweaks

Hey that is nice! I usually use that much space to wire up the pilot light. :icon_biggrin:
