Title: Single Channel Bassman
Post by: plexi50 on October 07, 2018, 02:15:24 pm
I have this single channel Bassman layout from Mojo. Something don't look right. Why it is not using a coupling cap to the volume pot?Is there a single channel Bassman here on the forum from Doug or others?
I found this one 6G6

The blackface Bassman AA864 doesn't need one. This circuit is quite different from a 5F6A. The schematic explains all.

Fender brown/black face amps use the TS caps as coupling caps.

The layout you posted isn’t cut off in the right spot. For the Norma channel only Bassman you only need two preamp tubes.
