Title: cabinet almost finished
Post by: 1blueheron on November 14, 2018, 07:39:51 am
This is the cabinet I have been working on with my son.  It is built entirely out of wood and parts recycled from 1950's vintage organs.  It has 1-12" speaker from an Allen organ and 1-15" speaker from a Conn organ.  My son wanted a vintage look and wanted to use the wood with the Conn logo and the old rattan grille material.  Most of the wood is walnut veneered popular with solid walnut trim.   We still have to put the trim at the edges of the grill cloth and finish the back.  Also working on a cabinet for the Amp that will match the cabinet using leftover pieces from the organs.  It sounds pretty decent with the Allen/Webster amp.  Lighting was bad  at 6AM, so picture quality suffered.
