Anyone into, or know much on Busking... basically playing outside Solo or small act, but specifically my question goes towards equipment.
I did this in Utah, and loved it, but they're lose there; power flows free in the park where I was.
Now I'm back in CA., Specifically Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach area, and looking to build a cheap right around my A.C. powered looper, couple low wattage transistor amps, maybe even Ruby, little gem for guitar.
I've got a spare 12V car battery, but RATHER not lug around with inverter, but maybe that's best...got probably 8 of those Li-Ion 13850 or whatever they are rechargables...any one hip to this? I've looked on YT, n Google, but would look to you all for final ideas if I can pair down a small rig.

Use a rechargeable PA and batteries in your rig. Best way to go about it. Commonplace in NYC and elsewhere. I will say that busking, to me, is you and a guitar un-amplified.
Make sure you check laws/rules/regs for the new places youre going. May be as easy as a free permit. Dont get dinged.

Bantam you are in my backyard! There's also lots of places to do your thing around here. Are you new to the area?
As for equipment - it all depends on what it is that your needs are, equipment used, and how loud you want it to be (there's restrictions on that), and how long you intend to perform. There's been guys with a guitar on one shoulder and a pignose amp hanging off the other side playing & singing while skateboarding all at the same time. Now there's a cool skill. Just don't hit a large rock or crack or... disaster!
There's a lot of battery powered amps available now. Some good ones by Fishman and Roland at 50-60 watts two channels for mic & guitar, or if only playing there's lots of around 5watt models by Roland, Vox, Blackstar, Orange, Yamaha, Fender, etc... But if you already have a battery/inverter set-up you can obviously use whatever you like.
There's also little battery powered pa type amps that are cheap. Then are karaoke type small battery powered amps on wheels where you can play back audio that come with the mic too, then you'd need one of the smaller powered amps mentioned first for your guitar. Having one of these are kind of cool cause you raise the handle set your small Vox/Roland amp on top, your guitar strapped on your back and you're wheeling your way around in a very portable type manner... Now I'd also put a small cooler on top for refreshments and you'd be all set - and hopefully not too far from a bathroom?!
