Title: Hello EL34 World fellow amp enthusiasts

Hello everyone,
    My name is Bob and I am thankful to be a member of this fine forum.  I love building tube amps and other musical electronic devices such as
microphones, effects pedals, measurement instruments etc.  By trade I am an electrical engineer, mainly doing RF work.  I love the tube/audio stuff because: 1.  It takes me back to my youth when I was a Ham Radio nut.  2. It relaxes me as it is basically low frequency work and does not encounter the strange transmission line effects such as characteristic impedance that one encounters at RF frequencies. 
3.  I learn things from the rest of you, that makes me a better all around EE.  I make all my own stuff except of course the basic components and within the next year I would like to try my hand a making my own transformers. 
I also feel that I have something to contribute for the betterment of the overall musical instrument device enthusiast found here.
