Title: Carvin BX 500 cuts out

Does anyone own or know of Carvin amps having a cut out issue and has had it fixed?

I had a Carvin ss bass amp that cut out after playing a while. I believe it was heat related and seemed to be resolved by moving it away from the wall and directing a little fan into the back of it.

May be so but it cuts out right away without much playing time

Just wanted to correct myself; it was actually a Fender ss bass amp that I had that trouble with. Don't know why I was thinking it was the Carvin.
