On my latest trip to my local university's surplus store, I picked up this thing to shove an amp in it.
But it looks kinda cool on the inside, and I have no idea what it is. I'd like to have an idea bout what it is before I tear it apart irreversibly.

Does anybody have an idea?
Thanks

The lack of labeling and the proto circuit boards suggests it is a one of a kind prototype. High quality military grade stuff in that chassis.

NAND flash memory. 12V coils. BIG condenser. Aircraft style connectors. Coax connectors. Timer circuit.
Hmmmm. Wait I think I know what it's from!

Looks like some sort of precision timer .

with those N type(?) connectors guessing some type of monitoring circuit, RF?
except for the edge connections, looks like the boards used on my radar console that brought in all the data, speed, bearing, alt....... then another set converted it to Nixie tube logic :think1:
