I am running 53 and all previous versions on win 7-64 bit and win 10-64 bit
Exactly what is not running correctly?
-
I can't get it (ver .53) to run on Win 10 64-bit either. It just shows the splash screen and disappears. I've tried the .exe, the .jar, and a .bat file to run it and it just won't cooperate. I've uninstalled and reinstalled too. :w2:

Do you have java installed?
Check your version here

I got it working. I had Java, but reinstalled it. I also uninstalled and reinstalled DIYLC again and it is working.
Thanks for your help! :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin:

tries to load then terminates. i have java JRE loaded but require strong security for work apps to function properly; that is likely why it's failing to load. java apps that are loose on security scare me anyhow, so i'll be passing on this app.

Are you saying 53.0 will not even start up?
or that you cannot open older .diy files?
I imagine it's a java issue then because I have not seen any reports of DIYLC not running on windows 7 or 10
There are 700+ members on face book that report that sort of thing
MAC's are a different story
They are a bit touchy sometimes

Are you running it from inside the zip folder or did you download the .exe install file?
Sometimes it will not run from the .zip.exe unless you use the .exe file to install it first
Once the install.exe file has run, it sets up the folder where the .diy config files is
I noticed that if the config file is not in place, the new program versions may just exit, like you described
