Post by: clayman on February 25, 2019, 08:06:14 am
Ideas for a pro jr?? Thinking of using iron and chassis for a stout. Any other Ideas? Want to use terminal strips, p to p.  Want a blue's amp

That is doable. Have you seen Hoffman's Pro Jr. conversion?

Yes I have seen the conversion, I don't like the original circuit. Thinking plexi or 5879 don't need tremelo, reverb etc.  The pab that tubenit uses looks good.

Look at my Dual Lite, or AC-15, or Lightning, or November. The Dual Lite is an AC-15 normal channel (EF86) plus Marshall 18W Lite (basically Stout) in one chassis. That would be my pick of my EL84 amps. You get Vox and Marshall tones in one small box.

Sluckey: Did you use a blank chassis for the dual lite?

Yes. I use blanks for all my stuff.
