Title: Adjustable Amp Voltage
Post by: Papa Jim on February 27, 2019, 06:04:38 am
I want to build a chassis to experiment with modifying and building different amps onto. Extra switch selectable wired up paralleled sockets for quick preamp tube comparisons, adjustable NFB, adjustable B+ voltage, etc. etc. Is there any downside other than space required to use pots for B+ voltage changing, and NFB  values?

Maybe a breadboard instead of a chassis.

Weber sells a PT with a variety of secondary voltages.  You could also use a variable bench power supply.  The downside is that exact tranny selection will affect amp performance & tone.
