Title: How to Convert images to 200 dpi for use in DIYLC
Post by: EL34 on March 31, 2019, 07:39:05 am
You can add images to DIYLC as a background image and then create layouts using the image

DIYLC only uses 200 dpi images
Standard images you see on the web are 72 dpi and 96 dpi
So if you add an image of some other dpi, like 72 dpi or 96 dpi, your image will not be 100% scale

I found a free and easy solution to convert images.
This free program can convert standard image formats to 200 dpi and resize the image to the proper width and height that you want.

I tested it with a standard sized 72 dpi image and converted it to 200 dpi.
Plus I made the image the exact width and height I wanted.

I wanted a 10 inch wide x 4 inch high image at 200 dpi

The program seems to only convert to pixels per cm, not inches
78 pixels per cm is 200 dpi

Check out how I filled out the conversion screen at the web site below
