Title: Sealer
Post by: davidwpack on April 01, 2019, 01:46:45 pm
Hey! Do you guys think that it would be of benefit to use sanding sealer when tolexing pine cabinets? I use contact cement. I don't think the pine absorbs much of it but not entirely certain. Thanks!

You can apply a lite coat of adhesive and let it dry completely.  Then apply a 2nd coat.  The first coat will seep in and seal the wood.  This is called sizing.
