Title: Matchless Lightning layout
Post by: daveyajd on April 03, 2019, 12:01:58 am
I would appreciate if any of you could help me out by putting some eyes on my layout. It is a mixture of Sluckeys layout  here: (layout info all the way at the bottom) http://sluckeyamps.com/lightning/matchless.htm (http://sluckeyamps.com/lightning/matchless.htm) but with the caps on board. Just want to make sure I didn't miss a connection somewhere.

I think it will work.

suggestion: some more space between the 120R 10W resistor and the bypass cap. otherwise, you'll cook the cap.

i like to put the ground rail of the power supply caps on the control side of the board - less electrical interference in proximity of the controls.

Thank you for your help. I will try to make a little more room on the board for the bypass cap. And looking at it now I don’t see any reason I can’t flip those filter caps on the board. My method from my previous TOS builds was to run that ground connection back to the control side under the board. Same goes for the bypass caps. I see them stacked pretty much on top of each other in a lot of builds. Thanks.
