Title: Spitfire clone with SS BRIDGE RECTIFIER

I'm trying to do this with parts I have.My PT is 275 volts not CT.It came out of an AMPEG 60S 20 WATT AMP.IT USED A SS BRIDGE.I also have the OT Which was fed by 2 6 V 6S.Does anyone see any issues with this B4 I start? thanks

Hola amigo !


No issue if done right. Even if it would be your first amp ever. Many pros here to help you. Just be aware that the amp won't have the same tone due to Voltage and OT specs diferences.
You'll have to use a 4 diodes bridge to get your ground reference or more easy a bridge recto all in one with 4 legs comin out of rhe bridge unit.But I guess yoy k now all that.
