Title: Jcm 2000 tsl 60 efx loop
Post by: jcm-jmp on April 27, 2019, 02:39:00 pm
Ok guys have not posted here in a while but need someone with mad amp tweaking abilities to confirm my thoughts. So I came to you guys as you all are the best!

As you probably know the tsl60 has a parallel effects loop. I want to make it a switchable series/ parallel loop. Sooo........
Referring to the main board schematic I would lift R106 lead closest to R125 and place a spst switch in this position and replace R107 with a 50k pot to allow for efx return level adjustment.

I know with the switch in the open position that there must be a path in place on the efx loop send and return Jack's to maintain a signal path or I will loose all preamp signal to the power section.

So does this sound like it would work?

Did you ever try this? Looks like cutting a leg on R106 would kill the dry signal and you would have a serial loop going through R107, with the effects level pot acting like another master volume.
