Title: What fuse in Bandmaster 230v?
Post by: Oddvar on May 11, 2019, 02:37:08 am
Hi.  Is 2A slo blow fuse sufficient in a 230V Bandmaster build?

Schematics specify 2A slo for 120V operation. If you double the supply voltage you would typically half the fuse rating.

So 1A would be good?

The point being that you should check what mains fuse is used in the domestic USA amp, and halve that value for use at 230V with a 230V primary PT.
It will need to be a 'T' type time delay / slow blow.
