Title: Somewhat stupid question about input jacks
Post by: Diverted on July 03, 2019, 02:26:50 pm
Hi all,

Very basic question here about Marshall vs. Fender-style input jacks.
I am wiring up the schematic here:
https://mhuss.com/18watt/schematics/18wattLite2b.gif
It's a stripped down Marshall 18w.

I have tons of Switchcraft Fender-style shorting jacks, but no European/Marshall jacks. I have never used them and am a bit confused with this schematic, on how I would sub in Fender style for them.
Any pointers?
Thank you, and Happy Fourth!

Look at the bottom of page 8 of this pdf to see how to wire that circuit using Switchcraft 12A Fender style jacks...
