Title: Do not use lamp limiter with 100w bulb when setting bias!
Post by: Searing on July 30, 2019, 11:35:29 pm
 :BangHead:

I just wasted hours of my life trying to bias a Super Reverb because I had it plugged into a current limiter I recently built.  Couldn’t figure out why my plate voltages were low.  I was so frustrated!  Now I know.  I really need to get a voltage read out on my bench.

Been there. I figured it out after a little while, and haven’t made the same mistake again.
