My 15rvt reverb was being awful noisy when I checked the re erb transformer which has 2 clip that connect the transformer to the pan those clips on to of trany had slipped right out of the reverb transformer i do have some fender reverb tranys on hand wondering if I can just use them

The GA15RVT schematics I can find don't have a reverb transformer. Can you post a schematic of your amp? Better yet, post a pic of the actual reverb transformer.
-
Cant seem to post a pix but mines the exsplorer it has a choke and a trans for the phase inverter and the reverb trans plus pt and opt. 5 transformer, I'll look for correct schamatic, and figure how to post a pix

figure how to post a pix
keep file size below 1024k
email it to yourself 1st - usually gets resized, use a image viewer that allows for resizing

I believe you. Gibson is well known for lack of technical documentation. I can find pics of your amp but I cannot find a proper schematic. Without a correct schematic it's just a WAG if the fender transformer will work. Can you draw a simple schematic that shows the driver tube and it's connection to the transformer?

This one I think
-
Nope.
Nope.
Are you Mark Enger?

This one?

Where did you find that?

Where did you find that?
I have a folder on my computer where I collect schematics that I haven't seen before. Somebody somewhere around the forums posted that, but I've long since forgotten who.
Looks like a Fender reverb transformer will work as long as it's driving an 8 Ohm tank.

Is T3 an interstage PI transformer?
-
Yeah Steve its mark, and yes this thing does have trans for a pi. Thanks guys

That schematic has been added to Hoffman's schematic library. THX 2deaf.
