Hi! Im new to this forum and pretty new to building tube amps. Ive built a Princeton Reverb, and now Im kind of itching to build a 6g2. I found a layout at TDPRI which I have modified with a new bias board, switch on both Hot and Neutral and a new ground bus. Does this look right to you?

Your bias board looks fine. Your power switch is fine ***IF*** the switch contacts are oriented vertically. I don't like the ground buss. I would cut the board buss between B+2 and B+3 caps to separate the preamp ground from the power ground.

Great, thanks for the feedback!
I'll look into it and post a updated version soon :)

Better this way?
I changed power cord colours and PT wiring after transformers I'll be using.
Also added a Artificial CT for the heaters, since the 290CAX has none.
Redid the power switch and ground bus.

I built a 6G2 recently - that's pretty much the layout I used except I used a 2x32 cap can for the power amp and a 20 UF cap for the preamp. I had to fiddle with the resistors in the bias circuit to get the right range. Great sounding amp. Have you started the build?
