Title: Kima Marazm's image files
Post by: EL34 on August 15, 2019, 09:06:13 am
Kima Marazm on facebook created a bunch of images you can add to DIYLC

The images look funky when you open them in an image editor, but when you add them to DIYLC, they look great

UPDATE: I attached a new zip file to this post with his image files
So far he has created 8 pin, 9 pin, chokes and switches

I also attached my 9 pin belton .diy test file shown in this post

Here's what one of them looks like in DIYLC

How to use the images in DIYLC

In DIYLC - Misc Folder - Image- paste it on the work space

Double click the small image to open the Edit selection box

Click to load image file

Navigate to the image file on your computer

If you add colored dots to the pins, then you can stick wires to the dots.
Then group the the image and the dots and the dots will move and stay put on the image.
Select the image and dots - Right click - Transform selection - Group Selection

Once you have grouped the pin dots and the image, you can then save the whole thing as a building block

Now you can paste the building block into any DIYLC file

Add wires to the dots on the socket.
You can make the wires stick to the dots and then you can move things around and everything will move and stay stuck to the pins on the socket.
In the config menu, if you check sticky points, you can move the socket around and the wires will stick to the dots and everything will move at the same time
