Title: 3-way relay with footswitch
Post by: isaac_teller on September 09, 2019, 09:04:12 am
Hello. How would I implement a 3-way footswitch(clean, overdrive and distortion channels) on a TRex type amp? Has anyone ever done this? Shematic? Thank you

There are only two channels. An A/B switch on the inputs would be easy.

I want to add a high-gain addition to the clean channel. For example:

You would need two relays. E.g. one to switch between the two channels and one to switch one channel between crunch/higain.

For this amp, it would probably be easier to add a separate boost stage to one of the channels, rather than folding one channel back into the other.

If you don’t have another triode to spare, you could add an LND150-based stage.
