I've been wanting Vox style side-handles on my Twin Reverb for a while now, and have been looking for a product that would replace the standard fender chassis straps with handles. See attached image for clarification.
Does anyone make these? Or do I need to make my own?

I've never seen a Fender style handle that short. The strap screws are five inches on center and the cap extends 3/4 of an inch from the screw. That only leaves three and a half inches of useable handle and I would have a little trouble getting four fingers under it.
Dog bone handles mount with a 6 3/8 inch center, which will fit on the top of a twin.

Those are still top handles. If you really want some true side handles for cheap, go to Ace Hardware and get a pair of these. Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man... :icon_biggrin:

There are some really nice looking side handles but they usually require you to cut a big hole in the side of the cab.

He said side handles, but I think he meant the side of the top as opposed to the middle of the top.
The problem with the Ace handles is that they rattle. I used to put handles like that on speaker cabinets except they were spring-loaded and had rubber grips.

Mid-century look.
Or you could go with 1960s Corvette door handles.
