Title: Four inputs on JTM45 vs single on Plexi 6V6
Post by: dude on September 29, 2019, 01:21:50 pm
A JTM45 with four inputs, hi/low each channel, is jumping the channels basically the same as using the single  input on a Plexi 6V6?  Both volumes on both amps can then be blended, would that capability produce the same tone? I assume on the 6V6 Plexi turning one volume down to 0, would be turning off that channel or the same as just using the JTM45’s same channel...?

The 6V6Plexi is modeled after the JMP 1987, not the JTM45 series. Slightly different. But they all operate basically the same as far as jumping channels and blending volume controls.
