hey all. A couple of the guys over at ampgarage are building boards for drop in replacements for the Fender HRD, since the Blues Deluxe is so close I figured I'd give it a go.
Found the standoffs don't match, but otherwise I think I'm in for a good setup. Here's the intro video

Awesome. I have been looking out for a DOA HRD/BD ever since xtian started offering these on TAG.

I'm having trouble with the concept of going with another PC board. Can you speak to this?

For me the idea is 'a more direct way for people with less fabrication skills to have a quick drop in replacement board with a completely different/better circuit'.
If that makes sense? It was definitely something that can be a bit less intimidating for a newer builder to have a premade circuit board with known connections out/in etc, w/o needing to fully understand the circuit.

Video 7, a long one, but I get all the connections from the board to the chassis/pots/sockets/jacks etc.

The final video... first power on, and demo.
If you want to skip to the demo, the skip to 14:39

If you followed the videos, there was an oscillation at high gain settings. I figured it out w/ help from pdf64:
