Hello,

Figured it was time to stop lurking and join up...

I started this journey around 1963ish....in high school obsessed with electric guitars and amps. Mom got me a ALamo guitar and Fender tweed champ...then progressed to Gibson Les Paul Junior (later called SGs) > Ampeg Reverb o Rocket or something > late 50's tele > 64 Fender Concert Amp > new 66 Fender tele...
thru all this always 'traded' in older stuff (unfortunately)....except the 64 Fender Concert Amp which I still have and hope to tune it up with help from this forum.....it's stock except for tubes and the grill cloth .....

That's about it...worked in IT since early 70s, 80s, 90s early 2000s IBM mainframes, then forced (whining) to accept PCs end user support still hanging with that...
constantly playing in bands until a couple of years ago...started out like most in my age group (read 'old)...instrumentals....the ventures...soul (stax), motown, British invasion, classic rock, blues, country, bluegrass...etc...yada yada...
