I grew up with long johns in the '50s and '60. The only heat we had was one fireplace, later converted to a wood burning heater. Slept under an electric blanket with my socks on. Hated to get out of bed. But that was before global warming, plus now I live on the gulf coast. Rarely see frost on the ground. Little bit on the rooftops. Seen snow maybe half dozen times since 1980.

Although that logic causes it's own problems with post2000 youth  :laugh:
